Toy Bonnie and his variants are some of the more exciting animatronics in FNAF lore, and here are some things you may not have known about them. Toy Bonnie is one of the significant antagonistic animatronics of Five Nights at Freddy's 2. He is the redesigned "toy" version of Bonnie from the real game and has many similarities to the original bunny in terms of style and attacks.
Toy Bonnie has a much more trendy appearance than his older counterpart, with more details on his face and a hard plastic shell instead of the fur. Toy Bonnie appears in a number of the subsequent games, whether as one of the main antagonists or as a Minifigure for the players to collect.
New And Improved
Toy Bonnie is the "new and improved" version of Bonnie from the first game. He has undergone the most drastic changes out of all the updated animatronics. He is a brilliant blue color instead of the dingey purple of Bonnie, and he usually looks a lot more modernized. His eyes are bright green with bold eyelashes, and he sports whisker marks on his cheeks. Bonnie was said to look almost like Freddy in design, so Toy Bonnie now looks entirely like his own thing.
Male
While gender really has no significance in this game, there appears to be a lot of debate about whether or not Bonnie is a boy or a girl. Many fans had been confused due to Bonnie's name in real, and toy bonnie plush added more confusion due to his eyelashes and apparently "face full of makeup." However, the founder of the game, Scott Cawthon, had stated several times that when he designed Bonnie (and Toy Bonnie), he created them to be male.
First Animatronic To Move
Toy bonnie | five nights at Freddy's, the first animatronic to move. He is initially seen on the Show Stage along with Toy Freddy and Toy Chica, but he begins to trek through the various party rooms before jumping into the vents. Toy Bonnie jumps out at players after being seen in the vents, and players must put on the Freddy Fazebear mask to fool Toy Bonnie into being scared and leaving back to Party Room 3 to begin the cycle all over again.
Plays Guitar
Like the original Bonnie, fnaf toy Bonnie plays the guitar in the band and can be seen with his guitar in the Show Room of Five Nights at Freddy's. His guitar appears to be the same as the original Bonnie played, albeit with a slightly vibrant color scheme. Toy Bonnie can be seen with his guitar off stage in Party Room. Once he leaves that room, however, the guitar does not go with him, and it is undefined what happens to it.
Pupils Get Smaller
It is unknown why this occurs, but Toy Bonnie's eyes, specifically his pupils and irises, get smaller and smaller the closer he comes to the player. None of the other animatronics does this, which is said to have some supernatural reasoning. It is like his eyes contract, like an animal's, but they stay the same when a light is shined upon them. In the close-up of Party Room 4, his eyes can be seen smaller, and, once he is in the Office, they shrink even more.
Narcissistic
Apparently, toy bonnie is pretty narcissistic. His personality really comes out in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, when he has actual voice lines for the first time. Toy Bonnie describes that he feels he is the real star of the show and is a superstar even more popular than the player character. Most of his dialogue indicates that he particularly cares about popularity.
